- Braking distances are extremely short for a grand touring tire. Even when cruising down a highway, this model stops strongly, thanks mainly to the asymmetric tread pattern and the ultra-wide contact patch.
- Delivers excellent feedback to the steering. That isn’t to say that you can expect performance tires’ level of communication from this model. Still, for a tire in this category, it’s pretty responsive.

All the above features are why this model’s snow traction feels much superior over its predecessor, which struggled even on light snow. That isn’t to say that its snow traction can compete with that of a winter tire. But for a grand touring all-season model, this model is very good.

Pirelli didn’t design the P7 All-Season Plus II for off-roading.
This model’s tread compound isn’t rugged enough to prevent the intrusion of sharp objects. Neither it has the sipes needed for adequate traction on loose surfaces, such as mud and slush.
For these reasons, it would be wise if you kept this model for highway driving only.
Pirelli Cinturato P7 All-Season Plus II for Sporty Driving
Does it have an aggressive tread pattern? Nope.
A soft and highly responsive tread compound? Negative.
Large blocks around the tread area? Not at all.
Given the absence of all these features, it shouldn’t be surprising that the P7 All-Season Plus II isn’t designed for sporty driving.
However, that isn’t to say that this model cannot withstand an occasional race or two. As long as you’re driving on the highway, it won’t wobble regardless of the side of the speed limit you’re on. But it may start to wear unevenly after a few races, bringing forward its replacement time.
As such, it’s recommended to mainly use this tire for sedate driving.
