In most cases, we’re at the forefront of new things over here, but that’s not always the case. Vredestein’s Pinza HT is a tire that’s been available in other parts of the world for some time, and it’s finally here in the US.

Pinza HT

Let us see what the brand from the Netherlands has to offer. For starters, based on the name, you can probably guess the application. The Pinza HT is a highway all-season tire designed for SUVs and trucks and maybe some crossovers.

As a highway tire, the Pinza HT has all the features you’d need from this kind of tire. The symmetric tread pattern combined with the rubber compound makes the tire last as long as possible. Most importantly, the longevity isn’t something that reduces the safety, so it’s not something to worry about.

On the handling side of things, the large shoulder blocks help out. Since the Pinza HT is for larger and heavier vehicles, they’d need all the help they can get, especially in the corners. The shoulder blocks are here to help stabilize the tire.

Noise is another area that Vredestein worked on. The Pinza HT features independent blocks, but they are staggered. As a result, the road noise is reduced.

The Pinza HT’s design features several improvements to help with wet performance. On one hand, you have dense sipes around the tread blocks, which offer improved biting force for damp or winter surfaces. In harsher conditions, the pass-through notches work in combination with the grooves providing excellent aquaplaning resistance.

Longevity is one of the many characteristics of the Pinza HT, which is evident from the warranty. Vredestein offers the tire with a 70,000-mile tread wear warranty or 50,000 miles for the LT models.

Vredestein has a nice network of tire supplies across the states. If you fancy a set of Pinza HT, check out some of your favorite suppliers if they have it in stock.
