Quietness and comfort are other notable features of the Road Venture, letting it compete with the levels premium tires have to offer. An all-season tread compound and computer optimized tread grooves ensure you can drive comfortably with windows rolled all the way down.

Michelin’s own tests confirm what we already suspected about this tire: that it boasts the best in-class braking distances on ice, snow and water. Its ice-braking distances are the shortest, a brilliant number for a tire which was released all those years ago.
The credit for this goes to the FleX-IceTM tread compound and the Cross Z-SipesTM Technology. The compound is the reason this model stays useful in the most extreme weather conditions. The technology, meanwhile, locks sipes with micro-pumps for superior and long-lasting stability.
Having said that, this tire suffers from two shortcomings, of which its steep price might be a deal-breaker. Aside from that, this model isn’t the best for towing and hauling heavy loads.
